Jake Puente

Outside of paid professionals, Jake has worked with nearly every demographic including youth clubs, high school, college, high-level amateur players & more. He has coached with Houston Dynamo's MLS academy in their U10-U12 Catalyst teams from 2019-2022.

He has also been an assistant coach for Kalamazoo FC (men) & Kalamazoo College (men) and is currently an assistant coach for the Kalamazoo FC women's team as well as the head coach of the PASL men's team, Kalamazoo United.

Jake holds a USSF A Youth license and a USC National Diploma. Besides coaching, he is involved in all aspects of the beautiful game including reffing, watching & playing.

Having played since his youth days, he was fortunate enough to play for both the varsity & club teams at Western Michigan University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

 
 

Kalamazoo Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses soccer as the catalyst to empower youth, improve their lives, and unite our community. The fundamental goal of KSC is to develop the desire in young people to have a lifetime of fitness and confidence through athletics.
